A number of organizations have given special awards to commemorate Ziya Boyacigiller's contributions to Entrepreneurs and Entrepreneurship

Ziya Abi Special Prize

GALATA BUSINESS ANGELS - April 29, 2015

Ziya Boyacigiller was well respected for the ongoing support and mentorship that he provided to Turkish Entrpreneurs.  He was known  as Ziya Abi  (Brother Ziya) to the Entrepreneurs.

This “Ziya Abi Special Prize” was given for the first time,  in honor of Ziya Boyacigiller who passed away in 2014, during the annual Galata Business Angels Mentor Clinic.  The mentors who took part in the event chose the 3 groups from a participating pool of 250 start-ups, awarding them a total of 9000 TL.

Honorary Award for Entrepreneurship

ANTALYA PROFESSIONAL WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION - March 12, 2015 

This Honorary Award was given to the late Ziya Boyacigiller for his contributions to the development of Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in Turkey and worldwide.
